I charge £25 per hour at my home in Lakenham, Norwich, and usually £30 per hour for lessons taught at students’ homes, though this is negotiable (it depends on how far I have to travel). Younger students, and certainly those of seven years and under, benefit more from shorter lessons. I charge £15 for a half hour lesson. I also teach group lessons, which entails a price reduction for each student: two students at £15 per hour each, three or more at £10 per hour. The first lesson is free, and students are under no obligation to come to further lessons.
Terms and Conditions
Like most independent teachers, I take bookings for an ongoing weekly or fortnightly slot. If a student needs to cancel a lesson, I will endeavour to fit them in at a different time/day in the same or the next week. I’m afraid that I cannot refund missed lessons when re-booking in the same or next week is not possible. On the rare occasion that I need to cancel a lesson, there is obviously no charge, and students paying by direct debit will be refunded.
